Join a leading provider of transport maintenance services as they embark on a major fleet upgrade contract. We are seeking multiple Mechanical Fitters to deliver modern maintenance upgrades to passenger trains over a two-year project based in Cardiff.

What’s Involved?

• Accessibility and Safety upgrades
• Internal cladding and seating upgrades
• Emergency help point installations
• Emergency door installations
• Visual display and security upgrades
• Working as part of a team

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter and recognised Trade Certificate
• Other Mechanical tradespeople may be considered
• Passenger train experience highly regarded but not essential
• Willing and able to commit to a 2 year project
• Must be able to pass a Rail Category Medical
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Excellent reference to support your application

• Attractive casual hourly rates with yearly mandated increases
• Monday - Friday + overtime when required
• Day and Afternoon shift available
• Longevity of work - 2 year expected project duration
• Cardiff based workshop location
• Project starting from May with potential to onboard earlier
